The Field Work PHMSA Expects.Scheduled. Done. Proven.

Valves, leak surveys, regulator stations and relief devices each run on their own interval, and the record of the work is often a paper form in a truck. X3 Pipeline Field turns every recurring task into a work order on its legal interval, closes it out in the field and keeps the proof.

The Exposure

The Valve Was Inspected. The Form Is in a Truck in Another County.

A technician partially operates a valve, writes the result on a paper form and puts it on the dash. The next one to look for it is an inspector, a year later, who wants to see that every valve in the system was done inside 15 months.

The work was done. The proof never made it back.

Every Recurring Task, a Work Order on Its Interval.

List your valves, stations and leak survey areas once. X3 turns every recurring O&M duty into a work order with its legal date, assigned to a person qualified to do it.

Schedule

Every recurring task with its PHMSA interval and its next date, by system and by person.

Valves

Inspected and partially operated each year for gas and twice a year for liquid mainline valves.

Leak surveys

Each survey area on its legal frequency, every leak graded and every grade on its repair clock.

Stations

Regulating and limiting stations, relief devices and overpressure protection tested each year.

Field log

The reading, the result, a note and who did it, entered on a phone in the field.

Findings

Every defect found becomes a finding with an owner and a date to fix it.

A paper form is a promise. A closed work order is proof.

From the schedule to the record

Schedule. Assign. Do. Log. Fix.

X3 follows every recurring field task from its legal date to the record that proves it.

  1. 01

    List the assets

Valves, stations, relief devices and survey areas come from Company Setup.

  2. 02

    Set the intervals

Each task gets its PHMSA interval and its next date.

  3. 03

    Assign a qualified person

Covered tasks only go to people who hold the qualification.

  4. 04

    Do it and log it

Close the work order in the field with the reading and a note.

  5. 05

    Grade what you find

Leaks get a grade and a repair clock; defects become findings.

  6. 06

    Fix and prove

Close the finding and keep the proof with the asset.

Field work is only finished when the record is back.

Why per mile. Pipeline work grows with miles of pipe: patrols, test stations, valves, leak surveys and assessments all scale with the system. So X3 Pipeline is priced per regulated mile. Every product has a monthly minimum that covers your first 100 miles, because every operator carries the same fixed work whatever its size: written procedures, an OQ program, an emergency plan and annual reports. Each mile after that adds a small amount. All nine products cost about four times one, so running the whole loop is the better deal, and paying for a year gets you twelve months for the price of ten.

Prices in US dollars. Subscriptions renew each month or year until cancelled.

Straight Answers

Questions Operators Ask About X3 Pipeline Field.

Have one that is not here? Ask X3, or write to us and a person will answer.

Does it work on a phone in the field?
Yes. Every screen works on a phone or tablet, so work orders are closed out where the work is done.
How are leak grades handled?
Leaks are graded Grade 1, 2 or 3 following the GPTC guide and your procedure, and each grade carries the repair or re-check period your procedure sets.
Can we import our asset list?
Yes. Valves, stations and other assets are entered once in Company Setup or imported with the template built into the import button.
Do I have to buy all nine products?
No. X3 Pipeline Field works on its own. Each product owns one job, and you add another when that job matters to you. The command center brings together whichever products you have.
How do I start?
Create your account, describe your pipeline systems once in Company Setup, then add X3 Pipeline Field (or all nine products) to your plan. Your company starts empty and every screen tells you what to do first.
How does pricing work?
One product is $499 a month for your first 100 miles of pipe, then $3 a month for each mile after that. All nine products are $1,999 a month for your first 100 miles, then $12 a mile. Pay for a year and you get twelve months for the price of ten. Over 2,500 miles, we set the plan up with you.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Invite your engineers, field techs, controllers and auditors at no extra cost. Each person gets their own sign-in and a role (admin, editor or viewer), and you can limit a person to some products. Everyone works on the same records, and every save shows who made it and when.
Can I keep documents and photos with the records?
Yes. Attach PDFs, photos, Word and Excel files to any record: the survey report on the survey, the dig photos on the anomaly, the signed form on the work order. On a phone, Take Photo opens the camera and stamps where the photo was taken.
Does it work in the field without a signal?
Yes. Add X3 Pipeline to your phone’s home screen. Work orders you opened stay on the phone, and readings, photos and signatures you record without a signal are kept on the phone and sent when the connection is back.
Do the products work together?
Yes. Each product can hand work to the next: an anomaly in Integrity becomes a dig in Field, a failed reading in Corrosion becomes a repair work order, a finished job becomes evidence in Audit. The command center shows every hand-off until it is taken up.
